Dr. Alaka is a multidisciplinary specialist in Food Technology, with extensive expertise in mathematical modeling, simulation, and cool chain analytics. He earned his PhD from Massey University, New Zealand, and currently serves as a Cool Chain Implementation Specialist at Zespri International. At Tropigence, Dr. Alaka leverages his unique blend of technical, research, business, and industrial experience to develop innovative and sustainable solutions for the tropical horticulture sector. Passionate about applying rigorous scientific methods and analytical insights to real-world challenges, he is committed to transforming how fresh produce is handled, preserved, and delivered—empowering farmers, local businesses, exporters, and consumers with solutions that are both scientifically robust and practically impactful.
